Who we are

Barking Blog is a UK dog-care blog. You can reach us at hello@barking.blog.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and PostHog (product analytics) to understand how the site is used. Analytics cookies and tracking are set only after you accept them in our cookie banner, until then, analytics storage is denied (Google Consent Mode) and PostHog captures nothing. PostHog processes data in the United States under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses). You can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not run advertising trackers.

If you join the newsletter

When you submit the newsletter form or take a free download, we store your email address, which form you used, the page you were on, and the date. We keep it until you ask us to remove it, or until the newsletter stops running, whichever comes first. We do not sell it, share it, or use it for anything other than sending you what you signed up for.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us what data we hold about you, request its correction or deletion, and object to processing. Email hello@barking.blog and we will respond within one month.

To remove your email address, ask for exactly that and we will delete every record of it. To see what we hold, ask for a copy and we will send you the full record. Both are handled by hand by a real person, so please give us the address you signed up with.
